In the next Unit 3, I will continue my research theme on identity in Unit 1 and Unit 2, focussing on exploring the impact of family of origin on a person's identity self-identity. Following on from my reflections on family longing in Unit 2, I have learnt that my deep and entangled emotions with my parents are inseparable from my family of origin environment.

 

I plan to continue to use staging as a filming technique and combine it with my own experience of conflict with my family to explore how one's family of origin influences and shapes one's identity of self in the family and society.
